Part of Federal-State Offshore Wind Implementation Partnership.
Last week, the Department of Energy (DOE) announced its intent to develop an offshore wind supply chain roadmap. The agency will tap into the leadership of the new White House-led Federal-State Offshore Wind Implementation Partnership, where they will work with 11 East Coast Governors to create an informed structure for the manufacturing, logistics, transmission, and development of this rapidly growing industry.
“Working together – states and the federal government – we can blow the lid off our growing domestic offshore wind industry and get us to our clean energy future faster,” said Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm. “The new Federal-State Offshore Wind Implementation Partnership will help build a strong domestic supply chain for offshore wind, and a foundation for delivering an abundance of clean energy along with more good-paying jobs.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For discernment for Secretary Granholm as offshore wind leases continue to be developed.
- For administration officials and governors of the East Coast states as they cooperate on offshore wind mapping.
- For wisdom for the president and his energy advisors as they pursue their energy transition goals.
